Got back yesterday night, There are so many awesome cars in Switzerland..

Sorry for the bad quality, my phone is not good in the dark and snow.

First awesome car I saw was this VW Golf Country 4x4. It had no rust or anything. looked like it just got out of the showroom.

Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!!

E30 Wagon.

Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!!

Too many RS Audi's. I think I saw more RS audi's then regular Audi's..

Kinja'd!!!

A VW Corrado outside a bodyshop, left side was dented and front wheel was gone.

Kinja'd!!!

Modded Escalade (I think) in the snow.

Kinja'd!!!

Audi RS Abt (?)

Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!!

Modded Audi at a gas station. Yes, it had a shocker sticker on the back.

Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!!

There were many more awesome cars, but these are the ones I got on my phone. The modding scene in Switzerland is huge.

And this is the car I spend 14 hours in driving back yesterday. I had the whole backseat to myself.

It was risky with this car, but it made the ride home.

Switzerland is FULL of awesome cars. I was surprised at how many American muscle cars there were, too.

On our road trip in the summer, I can't say I much liked Switzerland.

Speed cameras and the like seemed everywhere, traffic was slow, Zürich was a nightmare to drive and compared to most other places we've been, the cars were nothing special. A few examples of modern American muscle, some German hot hatches and that was more or less your lot.

Maybe we picked some bad routes, but seeing as how we spent most of the time on nice scenic roads, not on highways, I would've expected more.

That was the only saving grace, though, the scenery was awesome and the Fluela pass was nuts at night in the thick fog. We decided to sleep it off and see it in the morning, so we slept on the top, froze off our asses and woke up to the same damn fog. Still, pretty damn cool. :D

Greets from Fluela!

Whe had no speed camera's, cars around us were overtaking us at light speed (we were doing 100 kmh,) RS Audi's, BMW M's everywhere, showrooms with Camaro's, Old Subaru's, tons of WRX STI's , some german tuner cars (Alpina. Abt brabus).

I've made a road trip through Switzerland this summer as well. Including the Fluela pass and many other passes. I experienced no fog and none of the other problems you described. I guess you were unlucky. I hope you continued on to the nearby San Bernardino pass.

Apart from the rims and stickers, it was a very nice car!
